PPI Claims Merchant Account
At UniBul, our core expertise is in providing reliable and reasonably priced credit card processing solutions to businesses, which are considered “high risk” by Visa and MasterCard, both U.S.-based and international ones. Our services just work, even in the super high risk segment of the market! We have developed a great PPI claims merchant account solution with a fast, simple application approval and straightforward set-up.
Once your application is approved, your PPI claims merchant account will be up and accepting credit cards in no time. Processing is supported in dozens of different currencies and you can settle your daily transaction batches in every major currency you may need, including U.S. dollars, G.B. pounds, euros and other currencies.
We may set up your PPI claims merchant account with either a domestic acquiring bank or with an offshore one. And don’t worry that an offshore credit card processing might be too expensive. With the help of our many banking partners, we are able to offer reasonably priced rates to our PPI claims merchants.
In order to initiate the application process, we will need the following paperwork:
- Application form. We will send you the form at the start of the process. Fill it out as completely as you can, sign and send it back to us, along with the other documents listed below.
- Processing statements. For application processing purposes, we ask that you provide your six latest credit card processing statements with your latest or current PPI claims merchant account provider. The reason we need the statements is to examine four things:
- Processing volumes. The monthly volume that your business generates will have an effect on the terms of service, such as processing rates and payouts, which we will offer to you.
- Growth rate. We will be looking into your payment processing volumes’ trends: whether they are going up, down or are holding steady. As you might expect, growing volumes would contribute to more favorable terms for you. However, we will be more than happy to provide PPI claims merchant account services to your business, even if your volumes are stagnant or decreasing.
- Chargeback rate. Chargebacks are a huge factor. In a perfect world, you would have your chargebacks under control, in which case you would have a great chance of getting the best payment processing rates available.
But the thing is that we don’t live in a perfect world just yet and your chargeback rate might well be higher than you might wish and may even be “excessive” — Visa and MasterCard typically use that label for ratios above 1 percent. If that is the case, we would still be able to work with you, through our high chargeback merchant account option, only on comewhat less favorable terms.
However, once we’ve approved your application and you have started using your PPI claims merchant account, we will work with you to get your chargeback level down to a more “normal” ratio and, once we’ve achieved that goal, we will reward you with a lower payment processing rate.
- Decline rate. Your rate of declined credit card authorizations is an important indicator for the overall health of your business, which is why we will be looking at it.
- Supporting documentation. As part of the application review, we will ask you to supply some additional paperwork, which you should have readily available. More specifically, we will ask for the following items:
- Certificate / Articles of Incorporation for your business or whatever equivalent document you may have.
- Copy of the owner’s ID: passport, driver’s license, national ID card, etc.
- Copy of any applicable business / operating license.
- Voided check or a bank letter (signed by a bank representative).
- The three most recent business bank account statements.
- Recent utility bill — no older than a month of the date on which your application was signed.
- Additional documentation. It is very likely that later on during the underwriting process we may ask you to provide some additional paperwork and we may also need some more information. This is standard procedure, so be prepared as your prompt follow-up will help us enormously to quickly complete the process.
